Reasons for completing the Sent and Completion fields - Viewing existing files and their up to date positions at ease.  Set out below are examples of files which have been completed correctly and ones which have not.

Hopefully you can see that it makes a big difference when steps are completed fully.

This one below has been completed correctly and is easy to see what is outstanding i.e. two tasks with due dates.

This next one has not been completed correctly and is far more difficult to decipher what has been done on the file and what has not been processed or sent out.

Leaving steps incomplete – it is not clear as to whether a letter has actually been sent out as it is not been fully completed.

Client Care Pack – it has been processed and edited (x) but not fully processed.

Email to client not processed (if not required either alter the step description to Ignore/Superseded/ Draft)

PDF Telephone Note inserted into history but not fully processed
