Change a matter from Private to Paid Referred

If you need to change a file from private to referred, please insert and process this step.

Matter Admin - Set matter as referred

This step will: 

1. Mark the FileNumber box on the with the name of the referrer

2. Mark the progress sheet screen as a referral

3. Add the referral fee to the progress screen

4. Reduce our costs, for reporting purposes, by the amount of the referral fee 

5. Present you with the Matter Properties screen to enter the referrer there

If you have run this step and have made a mistake and need to re-run it, BEWARE - it will reduce the costs again. You can change these manually after running the step by going to Matter Properties and changing the field 'Costs Limit'
