IMPORTANT: It is the firms policy to leave the previous address on the system and add a new one unless it is a typographical error. |
VIEWING ADDRESSES ATTACHED TO AN ENTITY
On the HOME Tab select Entity/Matter Profile and select the entity which needs updating.
Click on the View Extra Addresses icon to access addresses already attached to the entity.
ADDING A NEW ADDRESS
Click on the green PLUS SIGN shown in the illustration above to start entering details of your new address. Make sure you set the ADDRESS NAME and also the TYPE as "Main". Also tick the boxes to confirm the address is preferred and active.
When changing the Type to "Main" a message will pop up asking you to confirm the address you have just entered is to be the main address instead of the previous one. Click OK to confirm.
Mark any existing addresses as previous and UNTICK the boxes preferred and active. |
Do the same for email addresses and phone numbers by marking as previous then creating new one and setting it as main.
