Matter Progress Screens

Modified on Mon, 15 Jan at 3:58 PM

Matter progress screens should be used for recording key actions and the status of the file.

This is important not only for those who have to work on your files in your absence, but also to assist in the file review and supervision procedures. The electronic file should be utilised for important information in relation to that matter.

To access the Matter Progress Screen go to your matter in Entity/Matter Profile then select the Matter Based Managing Partner data icon.

Within this screen there are different tabs for you to browse through and add information.

The default ones are as follows:-

Overview

Documents and Undertakings

File Audits and Conflicts

Any other tabs are department specific.

You can’t type into these but there are steps in Partner that begin “Matter Progress –“. When those steps are used, it puts the data into these boxes. It also leaves a footprint on the case file.

The steps are named as follows:-
