How do I send a draft letter/document for approval?

Many Legal Advisors like to double check their work before sending out just in case of any further amendments are needed.


After creating your letter/document if you right click on the same and select Email/Email Link - Internal only as illustrated in the screenshot below.



Partner then opens a new email which attaches the link to your letter/document. Enter the correct Legal Advisor and Click Send for approval before sending out externally.



Once sent to the Legal Advisor, save your email to the matter and make sure you select the correct Agenda (possibly Internal Admin).  


If you forget to select the correct Agenda you can move your email and case link by right clicking and select the "Copy/Move" feature.


To view your sent email press F5 to refresh your screen.



What the Legal Advisor sees when they receive your email:-



The Legal Advisor then opens the link straight to the letter/document in Partner that you have created.


Upon opening the link the following screen appears - click OPEN




The Legal Advisor can then view/amend or dictate amendments as appropriate and advises the support staff to continue.  You can then complete the step and send.
