Complete the input form


1. Enter a search reference


This is an optional field and for internal reference only.


2. Specify permitted documents types


3. Select scan type




4. Enter the search subject's details



The minimum input fields are

 

First name

Last name

Date of Birth

Sex

Address

 

Fill in the above information and click "add document" to advance to the upload screen.


Upload documents and/or selfie

5. Confirm upload method


Upload Now:

Documents can be verified by uploading the document image directly from your computer.

N.B the search subject's selfie will need to be uploaded via SMS or email link.


OR

 

Send to Client:

 

Send an upload link to the search subject via free SMS or email message. Note: the link will expire after 5 days. If users click on the link after that period, they will be sent a new link.

 

6. Wait for the search subject to upload selfie and/or document images

 

Once the user has submitted the check, a page will display, summarising the status of the check and details submitted.

 

Reminder notifications will be sent to the search subject when they still have pending actions to complete. The default* reminder periods are:

 

Reminder 1: sent to the search subject 24 hours after the original notification was sent.

 

Reminder 2: sent to the search subject 72 hours after the original notification was sent.

 

*Customised notification periods are available with SmartSearch Pro, please speak to your Customer Success Manager for more information.

 

For outstanding SmartDoc requests users can also resend the SMS or email, change the email address or phone number, or cancel the request.

 

 

To revisit this page, users can retrieve the search from the search listing. Alternatively, simply retrieve the search using the relevant SSID, search reference, or search subject name.


7.    View the Results


Once the results are ready, the user will receive an email notification with a link to view the results.


If there is a problem Resubmit a SmartDoc

If all the images have been provided by the search subject, but the SmartDoc remains Pending, you can re-submit for Processing.


Abandon a SmartDoc


If you do not wish to continue with a SmartDoc and the images are yet to be provided, you are able to cancel the search by selecting Mark as Abandoned on the Upload Document page.
